MTGB2000 models feature MT-G’s original metal core guard structure and carbon core guard structure, which is the latest innovation to reinforce the structure. A carbon fiber reinforced resin monocoque case is placed inside the metal frame that connects the bezel and outer case to achieve high strength, high airtightness, and weight reduction at the same time.
Black IP is applied to the polygonal bezel for a metallic matte shine. By making the bezel and outer case a separate structure, color coding is possible, and the range of color expression has been expanded while maintaining the solid feel of metal.
A highly smooth mirror surface is created on the slope of metal parts by rough polishing. In addition, the hairline processing, knurling processing (crown), etc. have been thoroughly finished in every detail. Furthermore, black IP is adopted for the metal frame of MTGB2000D.
Fine resin parts are combined with the metal band to achieve both a luxury feeling and a functionality feeling. By hollowing out the metal parts by MIM (metal powder injection molding), the weight has been reduced by about 15% compared to the conventional model (MTGB1000D). Additionally, MTGB2000 models feature a double slide lever structure that makes it easy to put on and take off the band as needed.

A dual-coil motor capable of high-speed hand movement is used for the hour, minute, and world time hands. Quickly adjust the time and switch modes. It also supports automatic time adjustment using Bluetooth® and standard radio waves. It reduces the time and effort required to set the time when traveling internationally or to a different time zone.
The high-brightness LED light illuminates the dial vividly to ensure visibility in dark places.
Sapphire glass is scratch-resistant and has high transparency. An anti-reflective coating is applied to the inner surface to ensure a clear view of the dial.
